About the Role
KM Construction & Property Care is looking for a framer to build walls, floors, and roofs on new construction, additions, and remodels. You'll work from plans, keep things square and plumb, and help the job move on schedule. When framing is slow, you'll pitch in on other phases of the build.
Lay out and frame walls, floor systems, and roof systems
Set trusses, beams, and sheathing
Install windows, exterior doors, and blocking
Read blueprints and take accurate measurements
Work safely at heights and around equipment
Help with siding, decks, and general carpentry as needed
Requirements
1+ years of framing experience, residential preferred
Able to read plans and do layout with little direction
Skilled with nail guns, saws, levels, and layout tools
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Own basic hand tools and bags
Able to lift 75+ lbs and stay on your feet all day
Shows up on time and works well on a small crew
